We hope you enjoyed our last blog post on Easter Basket Ideas For Girls, and we haven’t forgotten little boys, and hope you find some inspiration in this post for Easter Basket Ideas For Boys!
One of our wonderful sweet girls here at HK, Sara, has put together some great ideas generated from her own childhood and her experience working with children.
I love what Sara wrote to me about her parents, “…Growing up our Easter baskets were always filled with things that our parents were eventually going to have to get us later for Summer. I don’t blame them, it was actually pretty smart! So that’s why I have included things like the new pair of goggles…”
Her parents were smart, I agree!
Okay, so here is the run down from Sara on ideas for little boys and Easter baskets!
1~ On the list is going to be Legos! Still extremely popular in the boy world, yes? I don’t think they ever won’t be. There are so many different themes and price points for parents to choose from. Great Easter basket item! You can find them at Target, Walmart, and any toy store.
2~ Goggles. This specific pair is found at Target.
3~ “Native” shoes! This brand blew up recently. This style is called the “Jefferson” and is $35. They are similar to crocs in material but a little more modern in look. They come in so many different styles and colors, but these are one of the most popular. They even come in glow in the dark! You know little boys will think that’s pretty cool! They are also extremely practical. Kids love them and they are great for summer because they don’t stink when they get sweaty or wet. This is their main website.
4~ Another “Native” shoes choice: one of their newer styles called the “Apollo Moc.” They look pretty cool! It looks like it will have pretty good air flow and not hold odors! A huge plus with boys, yes! It is also found on their website and is $50.
5~ Splash Bombs! Yes, there as fun as they sound! These things have been around forever, but they are always a favorite with kids. They are kind of like chapstick though; they seem to disappear after a few uses so Easter is a great time to replenish them! They can be found at Target.
6~ Do we dare? Yes, Whoopee Cushions. Such a classic and no matter what age, all boys think they are funny. No little boy should be deprived of a Whoopee Cushion. Like most things, this one can be found on Amazon.
7~ Big League Chew! Now, this isn’t for the little guys in your life, but your boys 5-6 plus will think this is the best gum ever. I don’t know if it’s the way it’s shred into all of those little pieces that makes it so good, or the actual flavor, or maybe its both, but boys love it. It can be found just about anywhere.
