Hannah Kate’s Return Policy

Hannah Kate’s philosophy of custom made clothes is one of the reasons our company is so unique!  Our choices are so varied that it is easy for each customer to design a garment unlike any other customer.  With thousands of garments processed each season, no more than 10% of those items are identical.  When a garment is returned it is highly unlikely that we can use that garment to fill another customer’s order due to the “custom design” of each garment. The 20% restocking fee only partially defers the cost of having the garment remade (fabric and labor).  If we sell the returned garment at our sample sale it is sold at a substantial discount, if it is sold at all.   We strictly enforce our 10 day return policy!  Our manufacturer requires this time frame in order to close out each party.   Because of this, please remind your customers to examine their order carefully when it arrives and not store it away unopened until time to wear the clothes.

*We have spent more time than ever before preparing for this season and are thrilled to be able to provide you with all the tools you and your customers should need to design outfits that are beautiful and timeless. We know that you spend a lot of time and money planning your outfits so we want you to feel confident as you design.

Therefore, we have lists for you of Fabric Pairings (a “yes” column, a “no” column and a “personal preference” column), Vinyl and Heat Press to Fabrics Pairings, and then the Ric Rac Do’s & Don’ts. Please please use all of these lists as references when you are creating your garments.

Hannah Kate’s return policy options are: *no refunds given except for manufacturing defects

  1. Manufacturing Defect-no restocking fee and shipping fees waived
  2. Gift Certificate less 20% restocking fee, customer pays shipping to ship return back and it must be received within 10 calendar days of receiving order. The gift certificate must be used within a year of receipt.
  3. Size Exchange less 20% restocking fee, customer pays shipping both ways and it must be received within  10 calendar days of receiving order

Personalized Items
*absolutely no returns for personalized items

Allow up to 3-4 weeks to replace returned items.
Fabric substitutions or refunds may have to be applied due to limited quantities of certain fabrics.

Please print out the return form from HERE and send it in the package with your garment(s). Please return it the most inexpensive way possible, which is usually USPS. We do not reimburse shipping costs unless the reason for the return is Hannah Kate’s error.
