"When I started Hannah Kate more than 20 years ago, so much was on my heart. I wanted what we created and how we created it to be authentic and poignant. I wanted it to be beautiful and meaningful." - Andrea Brown

Our Story

Hannah Kate began as a small Trunk Show line in the basement of my home. What started as a dream has now become my purpose, my calling in life, and one of my greatest gifts I have here on earth.

Making Moves

In 2004 we had expanded beyond the basement in my home and we moved into our permenant location here in Homewood, Alabma.

Now

Fast forwarding now to our current and largest season, having more than 150 amazing hostesses, we will have constructed, folded, and packaged more than 24,000 custom garments, making up over 3,000 orders. I, Andrea, am so humbled. Hannah Kate is a team, a team of incredible Staff, hostesses, models, and customers. I am so excited for what is to come!

We are each, by design, one of a kind. There is no duplication.

this is the joy and wonderment of life.

We passionately and lovingly create clothing for children. By creating these custom pieces, we feel that we have been chosen to enter into the special story of each child wearing the clothing we craft for them. We embrace the journey with each child, celebrating their own unique beauty.

The clothing we create is meant to reflect the child who wears it. Every child is unique, just like every stitch is unique. Every little boy or little girl has been thoughtfully and remarkably created to be exactly who they are. And every little dress or little pair of pants has been created in exactly the same way.

This is Hannah Kate. Our purpose is to use our gifts to transform, inspire, celebrate, and most importantly, to love. Every piece we make is made with tenderness.
It is made with excellence. It is made with integrity, commitment, and purpose. It is made with joy and passion. It is made in complete wonderment. We truly believe that the child and the clothing have been cut from the same cloth. Both have been joyfully and wonderfully made.
